From the very moment I met this couple I liked them. Sara was sweet and spunky, and strong and stoic Will clearly adored her. Before I knew anything about what they were planning for their wedding, I wanted to photograph it. I could feel that I was supposed to be there with them on their special day. No rhyme or reason, just a feeling.
As it turns out, this was one of my favorite weddings ever! Yes it was a gorgeous location, yes the details were amazing, yes the couple is easy on the eyes (yes I know that is a serious understatement). But it was SO MUCH MORE than that! This wedding was truly a celebration where families and friends came together to support the union of a couple in love. They came to bless and anchor the foundation of a marriage, to start it off right. It was a huge venue and somehow the laughter and hugs and kisses and smiles and dancing filled up every inch of the space and beyond. And I’m really not surprised though, because when Sara + Will walk (or dance!) into a room together the power of their love and the essence of who they are completely energizes everyone around them. Their love and energy cannot be contained. I didn’t know it then, but that was what I felt that first day I met them. I felt the force of nature that is Sara + Will.
