What Goes Down Must Come Up

Let me start by saying that it has been a full 3 days since my last post and it feels like 3 years! I took the time to catch up on some things I’d been neglecting as a result of the blog challenge (including adding an extra 30 minutes of cuddle time with my kids each morning) and to address some other issues things that needed my full attention. I’m really glad to be back here though…I missed my daily therapy session blogging time!!

So 2012, it has really started with a bang. If I was worried this year would be boring all those fears have now evaporated. Things could be really good or really bad, but certainly no chance of boring here! I’d love to fill you in on all the details, but I have to iron out a few more pieces of the puzzle before I can really talk about everything that has taken place in the first 10 days of 2012. Since I can’t get into the dirt, I will at least share the lesson. You know how I love my life lessons!!

Here goes: When life pummels you from all sides, in ways you never conceived possible, just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Stay in motion, keep moving forward. Pull yourself out of bed, brush your teeth, attack one (not thirteen) thing on your to-do list. Show the world that you may be down, but you’re not out. You may quit eventually, but today is not that day. Even though it may seem counterintuitive, what goes down must come back up. Stay in the game, my friends!

(my new facebook timeline photo…woohoo!)

For reals. On Sunday I kept saying “one more episode of How I Met Your Mother and then I’ll get off the couch and clean up the backyard”. Once I finally dragged myself outside and started the physical act of cleaning, I got a good mental cleaning too. And by the end of the day I had email requests for wedding photography and a photo booth!

I loved this post! My blog is under construction lately and I told my husband that’s why I’m so crazy - I’m missing my therapy sessions!!
At least reading your blog helped! =)
